Rodeo delivered a proposal "16 Tons" for the new Geology and Mining Museum in Jøssingfjord in the south-west of Norway.

In response to the existing historical buildings on the site, the proposal fragments the museum into several smaller volumes. The spaces between the volumes also become a part of the exhibition where visitors can experience more direct contact with Jøssingfjord’s dramatic landscape.

New structures are created with both new and traditional building materials, creating a contemporary museum, while relating to the existing historical structures on the site.
