'To hus tett i tett': A semi-detached house in the suburbs of Oslo, situated in the backyard of an existing two-family house built in the 1920s. The project utilize the sloping terrain and the built volumes to to create separate entrances and outdoor areas for the two units. 

The northern house sits atop a shared parking garage with entrance and garden on the southeastern side. The house has an open ground floor plan with kitchen and livingroom which opens up to the garden and a covered balcony. The first floor holds bedrooms and a living space with views of the Oslo fjord to the South. 

The Southern house has entrance from North-West and garden facing South-West. An open, continous stair staircase links the unit's three levels - with kitchen and livinging space on an open split level in the middle.

The building is clad in black stained wood, contrasted by details around balconies and entrances in oak.
