Rodeo Architects have developed a strategy and Masterplan for Kolbotn and surrounding areas. Kolbotn is part of the greater Oslo area, and is expected to have a substantial growth in population in the coming years. The plan aims to created a continous urban structure for the centre of Kolbotn, enhance the pedestrian and bicycle network, and help Kolbotn towards a carbon neutral future.

The concept 'Mind the Gap' refers to the 'gaps' in program, demographics and urban fabric we believe need to be adressed in order to turn Kolbotn into a more livly and livable place for more people. 'Mind the Gap' also points the reintegration of the train station - Kolbotn's raison d'être - in the city centre and public space - constituting the heart of Kolbotn as a future 10-minute city.
